Find out more about Alfred based research - EMCR conference 17 Sept

Alfred site based staff and graduate students will be presenting at the AMREP* EMCR conference on 17 Sept. This is an opportunity to hear about the wide range of medical and public health research undertaken by our Early-Mid Career Researchers at the site. The aim of this conference is to provide a friendly forum for EMCRs to present their work accessibly and to foster collaborations and to bring together researchers located all throughout AMREP. Staff and students are based at Central Clinical School (CCS), School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine (SPHPM), Burnet, BakerIDI and elsewhere at AMREP. See details below.

Venue: AMREP Lecture Theatre & Seminar rooms
Times: 9-5pm.
 Opening address: Adam Bandt, Australian Greens Deputy Leader and Federal Member for Melbourne
 Keynote address: Lindy Burns, Evenings Presenter on 774 ABC Melbourne

Judges include: Prof. John McNeil (SPHPM), Prof. Stephen Jane (CCS), Prof.Bronwyn Kingwell and Prof. Brendan Crabb (Burnet).

There will also be door prizes and question prizes for attendees, the launch of the new AMREP collaborative seed grant and lunch and drinks provided.
