The award recognises Jae's outstanding PhD thesis, entitled "Targeting the molecular mechanisms of axonal degeneration, demyelination and remyelination in multiple sclerosis".
Jae's main supervisor was Dr Steven Petratos who will be attending to receive the award on Jae's behalf, as Jae is currently working in South Korea.
