Participants sought: Pain in the brain
This research study is exploring changes in the brain in people who suffer from chronic low back pain. We are seeking female volunteers between 20 and 40 years of age who are right handed and currently experiencing low back pain.
This research is being conducted through Monash University. It involves the use of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) which is a painless, safe, and on-invasive procedure where magnetic fields are used to produce images of brain structures.
Participants will attend two 1.5 hour sessions at the Monash Biomedical Imaging centre in Clayton to complete a number of questionnaires and undergo an MRI scan.
Potential participants will be screened prior to their involvement in the study to ensure that they are eligible to take part. Participants will be reimbursed for their travel costs.
