Runa's thesis is "Mitochondrial function in Diabetic Kidney Disease: Insights from targeting mitochondrial pore-forming cell death proteins". Runa was supervised by Associate Professor Melinda Coughlan and Professor Mark Cooper in CCS's Department of Diabetes, and Dr Gavin Higgins at the Cancer Council Victoria.
Sin Ki's thesis is "Investigating the role of cognitive risk factors and underlying neurobiological processes associated with chronic low back pain". She was supervised by Dr Bernadette Fitzgibbon and Professor Paul Fitzgerald from the Monash Alfred Psychiatry research centre, and Associate Professor Donna Urquhart and Professor Flavia Cicuttini from the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.
