Meng Law's article hits home run

Professor Meng Law, Department of Neuroscience, has co-authored an article which turns out to have hit the spot in terms of both public and scientific interest.

The American Chemical Society (ACS) Omega publishing group has featured the authors' article titled “Physicochemical Investigation into Major League Baseballs in the Era of Unprecedented Rise in Home Runs” in their just-released special Virtual Issue “Celebrating 5 Years of Open Access with ACS Omega”.

In this Virtual Issue, the team of Editors at ACS Omega highlight 50 outstanding articles to demonstrate the quality of work published over this period. These articles are divided into five categories:
  • highly-cited; 
  • highly read; 
  • articles that have received considerable media attention; 
  • articles from some of our most prolific and prominent authors; and 
  • articles published by our own eminent Editorial Board that represent the diversity of topic and geography of the journal.
