In 2019 the Alfred Research Alliance Monash BioImaging (ARA-MBI) Preclinical Imaging Facility commenced operations with a PET/CT system, and has recently expanded its capabilities.
ARA-MBI now includes animal holding facilities for PET/CT studies, and a radioisotope catalogue. The animal holding area gives us the ability to perform longitudinal studies that use longer lived isotopes (e.g. copper), and increases the range of research applications.
Our in-house radioisotope catalogue allows easier access to radioisotopes, particularly for new protocols and pilot studies. To make an enquiry to begin a new project and access our state-of-the-art facilities, please contact: robert.brkljaca@monash.edu.
