Congratulations to our 3MT contestants in the CCS heat!

Around 80 attended the CCS 3MT heat - congratulations to all involved - the speakers, the MC, the judges, and Sharmila Ramesh!
Central Clinical School's PhD students are passionate about their research, and today's Three Minute (3MT) heat really showcased our wonderful talent. See below for our winning presenters.

First: Georgia Fuller Symons (Neuroscience) with her presentation titled, "Hitting close to home: Concussion in Australian rules football". She packed a punch, and will go on to represent the school at the Faculty heat (being held week of 19-26 June). Good luck Georgia!

Runner up: Jacques Ma (Diabetes) on "A novel approach to intracellular delivery of GLP-1 for diabetes and obesity pharmacotherapy". We gulped down GLP-1 without fear of fat or sugar!

People's choice: Erskine Chu (Neuroscience) on "How SHIP-1 Navigates the Injured Brain Through the Course of Recovery". Great use of Humpty Dumpty's sadly knocked about head.
