Congratulations to Paddy Dempsey, BakerIDI, who has won the CCS 3MT heat and will be competing in the Faculty final next Friday 19 August at 1.30. His topic is "Breaking up prolonged sitting: Implications for prevention and management of Type 2 diabetes." Congratulations to Caroline Tuck, Department of Gastroenterology, who came runner up and also won the People's Vote. Caroline's topic is "Adjunctive therapy to the low FODMAP dietary management of Irritable Bowel Syndrome". She is supervised by Dr Jane Muir, Prof Peter Gibson and Dr Jacqueline Barratt.
