Congratulations to our recently completed PhD students!

Congratulations to Michael Keating, Amy Searle, Jasper Cornish and Sarah Luu on earning their PhDs! 2020 has been a difficult year, so extra well done to these graduate research students on their successful completions.

Michael Keating's PhD thesis is titled, "An Integrated Systems Biology Approach to the Discovery and Characterisation of Novel Regulators of Hepatic Lipid Metabolism". He was supervised by A/Prof Anna Calkin and A/Prof Brian Drew (Baker Institute). His degree was conferred on 28 October 2020. 

AmySearle's PhD thesis is titled, "Innovative Precision Medicine Approaches For Thrombo-Inflammatory Driven Cardiovascular Diseases". She was supervised by A/Prof Ziaowei Wang and Prof Karlheinz Peter (Baker Institute). Her degree was conferred on 19 August 2020.

Jasper Cornish's thesis is titled, "Haploinsufficiency of Murine Nfkb1 Confers a Defective Immune Response and Diverse Late-onset Complications". He was supervised by Dr Raffi Gugasyan, Dr George Grigoriadis (Hudson Institute) and Dr Paul Ramsland (Burnet Institute). Jasper's degree was conferred on 22 July 2020.

Sarah Luu's thesis is titled, "Improving outcomes in patients with reduced splenic function". She was supervised by A/Prof Robert Andrews (ACBD) and Dr Ian Woolley (SCS). Her degree was conferred on 22 July 2020.
