Congratulations to two of Central Clinical School's Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) students, Mr Michael Dong and Ms Madeleine Tse, who have tied for top position in this year's cohort.
Michael Dong's Honours thesis is titled "Intracameral triamcinolone acetonide in uveitic cataract surgery". He was supervised by A/Professors Anthony Hall (Department of Surgery) and Lyndell Lim.
Michael said, "I'm very grateful for the year I’ve had and for the support from my supervisors, central faculty and CCS throughout the year. Thank you all for a great BMedSc(Hons) course!" Michael can be followed on Twitter @michaeldong_
Madeleine Tse's Honours thesis title is "Intercostal catheter drainage treatment failure in adult thoracic trauma and its associated factors" and she was supervised by Professors Mark Fitzgerald and Biswadev Mitra (both National Trauma Research Institute).
Madeleine said, "I am incredibly grateful for my supervisors, Prof Fitzgerald and Prof Mitra, and I also want to say a massive thank-you to the faculty and CCS for all the support during the most chaotic year.
