The Centre of Excellence in Traumatic Brain Injury Research (CETBIR) is a virtual research centre based at the Alfred Medical Research Precinct (AMREP) and including the National Trauma Research Institute (NTRI), Alfred Health, Monash University’s School of Public Health& Preventative Medicine and Central Clinical Schools, and the Monash Epworth Rehabilitation Centre as core partners. Opportunities based at AMREP are available to commence a PhD on one of a range of projects within the National Trauma Research Institute (Monash University, Department of Surgery), as listed below:

• The PATCH clinical trial - Pre-hospital Anti-fibrinolytics for Traumatic Coagulopathy and Haemorrhage
• Australian Trauma Quality Improvement (AusTQIP) Program
• Australia-India Trauma Collaboration: Reducing the burden of injury in India and Australia through development and piloting of improved systems of care.
• NTRI Forums (a clinical knowledge translation program)

Participants sought: Use of glucose in IBS fructose malabsorbers to assistfructose absorption and eliminate symptoms

Participants, both healthy and with IBS, are sought to investigate whether glucose helps in fructose absorption, thereby eliminating symptoms of fructose malabsorption.
