The Department of Immunology was identified in 2012 as an outstanding unit for postgraduate mentoring and supervision. The Department was ranked second in the entire University in the Postgraduate Research Student survey, and in the top ten for the 2011 Postgraduate Research Supervision Survey.The culture in the Department of Immunology is one of great commitment to its students, to encourage them to present and publish and provide them with support and advice during the research.
