Congratulations to our recent graduates, Dr Mark Ward, Dr David McIlroy and Mr Gao Qian! Good luck in all your future endeavours!
Our three recent graduates are:
Dr Mark Ward, Department of Gastroenterology: "Therapeutic optimisation in patients with inflammatory bowel disease" Doctor of Medicine (unsupervised), awarded 9/08/17. Mark is a clinic consultant for Alfred Health's General Gastroenterology Clinic.
Dr David McIlroy, Department of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine: "Perioperative acute kidney injury (AKI): diagnostic criteria, risk factors and the challenge of early recognition" Doctor of Medicine (unsupervised), awarded 12/07/2017. David is now an adjunct senior lecturer for the department.
Mr Gao Qian, Department of Immunology and Pathology: "Developing a therapeutic nano-vaccine against ovarian cancer". Gao Qian was supervised by Professor Magdalena Plebanski and Dr Sue Xiang (Associate). The PhD was awarded 9/08/2017
