Congratulations to Dr Eric Chow, Club Melbourne Fellowship Finalist!

Dr Eric Chow is one of five finalists for the Club Melbourne award

Club Melbourne will be announcing their 2018 Fellowship award winner on Monday 13 August 2018. Dr Eric Chow, Senior Research Fellow at the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre, is one of the five finalists.

Dr Chow is an epidemiologist and an expert in sexual health related to preventing and controlling sexually transmitted infections, particularly in gonorrhoea and human papillomavirus.

Dr Chow has more than 140 publications and has contributed to public health program and economic evaluation, STI management guidelines. He received 15 research awards/prizes nationally and internationally, and received 19 grants totalling AU$2.6m. He is currently leading an NHMRC-funded multi-centred clinical trial on mouthwash use to prevent oropharyngeal gonorrhoea.
