Find out more about Honours and postgraduate study at the Alfred Research Alliance

Central Clinical School and the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine together with Alfred Research Alliance partners Baker and Burnet Institutes are hosting an information night on 11 August 2022  for intending Honours and postgraduate students.

Explore Honours and higher degree by research opportunities at the Alfred Research Alliance (A+), to follow your intellectual curiosity in biomedical science and technology to open up your career options! Register here.

We have a star line-up of speakers, including Professor Terry O'Brien, Head of Central Clinical School and Professor Dragan Ilic, who is Director, Teaching & Learning and Head, Medical Education Research & Quality (MERQ) unit at the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine (SPHPM).

In addition, we will hear from previous Honours students, Ms Alexandra Dvorscek (CCS) and Ms Georgina Lau (SPHPM), who will give you first hand accounts of what it's like to study and work at the A+ precinct.

The COVID pandemic has changed some things, but the mentoring of our students to reach their potential hasn't been compromised.

What are you interested in? Our collective research strengths lie not only in the breadth of subject areas, from blood diseases and brain disorders to surgery and trauma developments, but in our co-location with the Alfred Hospital, which has been Monash University's teaching partner since 1965, and our dedicated platform facilities.

  • 6:00 PM - 6:45 PM Presentations
  • 6:45 PM - 8:00 PM Department Q&A Zoom meetings (Link provided following registration).

See event flier for program details and contact details.
