Monash Micro Imaging Image Competition: closing date 10 Dec 2019

Monash Micro Imaging (MMI) has just opened its annual Image Competition for the 2019 round. Entries are invited from all optical imaging instruments and modalities (brightfield, fluorescence, confocal or other), and may be an original, processed or rendered image, or a movie/animation. There are as usual cash prizes for top 3 selected entries, and the top 13 images will appear in the 2020 MMI Calendar.

  • Closing date: Tuesday 10 December 2019

  • Submissions: via this Google form (or follow the link in the flyer).

Monash Microimaging are once again running their annual image competition!
  • Cash prizes for the best 3 entries
  • Categories for this years competition are now expanded to include:
    • Widefield/Fluorescence/Confocal/Light-sheet and other microscopy modalities
    • Animation/Movie of 3D Volume/Surface Rendering, Dynamic Imaging, Time-Lapse or Computer Animation 
  • 13 of the selected best entries will feature in 2019 MMI calendar
  • Movies/Animations to be used as graphic displays or 3D printed models
Submission deadline: 7 December, 2018

Photo of the week: Wet spring week at AMREP

Image: Stephen Cody, Monash Microimaging at AMREP. The umbrellas have been out in force this wet week, here lined up to dry under the scaled up microimagery on Level 6 of the Burnet tower, now the home of Department of Immunology.
