Congratulations to 2014 Robert Power Surgical Prize winner Lukas Sahhar

Congratulations to final year Monash University Medicine student Lukas Sahhar, who was recently awarded the winner of the 2014 Alfred Hospital Robert Power Prize in Surgery. This final year medical student prize involved both written assessment and a viva voce examination on surgical knowledge and skills. Lukas has thoroughly enjoyed his surgical rotations at the Alfred Hospital and said, "The Alfred offers excellent surgical learning opportunities. I am very grateful for the teaching my rotations' teams have offered."

The award will be presented at the Alfred Staff dinner in 2015. Lukas is looking forward to commencing his internship at the Alfred in January 2015.
