COVID-19 has dominated the minds of health professionals and academics around the world, and the pipeline of research to testing to practice has never been as visible to the public and professionals alike.

Devils in the Details – Making sense of COVID-19 is a one-day free conference being held Friday 10 September, featuring thematic sessions from a range of speakers. See more & register.

We’ve heard a desire to find ‘signal among the noise’, and to take stock of the science of COVID-19, while keeping up with the day-to-day realities of the pandemic for both the healthcare sector and the public.

This inaugural, free and open to all day-long Conference is an opportunity for the Australasian region to hear more about emerging and unpublished science on COVID-19 and to strengthen collaboration between research groups nationally, across our region and internationally.

This event is convened by Professor Sharon Lewin, AO, Director of the Peter Doherty Institute and Co-Chaired by Associate Professor Edwina Wright, AM, of the Alfred Hospital and Monash University in Melbourne.

Who can attend? Anyone who has an interest in the latest science and research related to COVID-19 and is open to all – both health professionals, non-specialists and the general public on a complimentary basis.

Registration is complimentary. Those attending the Joint Sexual Health and HIV&AIDS Conference will be able to add it to their registration, for everyone else Registration for the day will open soon!
