Dear Colleagues,

I'm an delighted to introduce two new members of the Research Administration Team who have recently started at CCS.

Ema Krpic has stepped into the Research Administration Officer position, taking over from Kate Thompson, who left recently after 6 years in the position, and Dr Ashwini Kannan has stepped into the role of Research Administration Coordinator.

Ema is a Pharmaceutical Scientist with over 10 years’ experience in research and clinical trials administration, as well as ethics, governance, and grant submissions. She was most recently working at the Monash Research Office (MRO) where she was reviewing and submitting grant applications, and providing guidance and compliance checks on applications as per the funder guidelines.

Ashwini was recently conferred her PhD in a multidisciplinary project on neuroendocrine prostate cancer across both SPHPM and BD. Earlier this year after submitting her thesis, she gained some consulting experience in KPMG under the Health Ageing and Human Services sector to develop a better understanding in operations, governance and policy review of public/private health systems.

Ema and Ashwini are located in the Alfred Centre, 6th Floor, South End.
